Thankyou both.
We visited Porsche Chester today with the dog to see if he fit in the boot of the Sport Turismo, they have a GTS in the showroom which doesn't have the net and the dog immediately tried to climb over the back seats.
I was surprised that my dogs didn’t try to escape over the back seats like they did in a previous 335d . Dog stuff: Boot Buddy & Guardsman grille/divider.
You don't have to have the factory net to get the roof mounting lugs like I do on my one off dog guard - especially as I found the factory net is truly awful and restricts vision. Production Guardsman dog guard just clips in without roof lugs. If you do want to have a load safety net with rear seats down i'd spec it though to get the lugs.
I cant recommend the divider as it keeps moving due to mutts and its rubber feet have come off.
Even tried lashing the back with bungees to stop it moving.
I cant recommend the Boot Buddy mat either as its shredded from their feet [url=https://imgur.com/ZHhl0Fe]

I read that if you want the dog net you need to order from the factory, as otherwise you don’t get the required fittings that the net locks into.
I though you did need to order it from new? I have seen cars without the lugs, odd that you have it in yours Ken and didn't order the net. Maybe they updated the builds? I have it and its excellent, works really well and the dogs love it. The only negative is it does restrict the rear view by about 50%. But just drive faster and don't look back... (I also have 360 camera so that helps with parking).[url]

I’d be keen to know 100% either way, as we don’t current have dogs and I was only ordering it to future proof it for the next owner!I ordered a CT4 last week, was told delivery March/April/May 2023. Apparently a CT4S would be a lot longer as that seems the sweet spot of the range most people think. We test drove a saloon with CT4 performance and it seemed plenty to me for a family car daily driver so the reduced cost and quicker delivery makes sense.
One question that I forgot to ask the salesman, we paid a £5k deposit but is the price I pay the current one or is it what the price will be next year? With the current backlog I can see Porsche bumping prices up considerably as they can't make them fast enough.

I’m pretty sure that until the production of your car is ‘locked’ nothing is final - the price could change (and you could ask for the return of your deposit). Once the order is locked, the price is also fixed at that time, but you can no longer get your deposit back if you wanted to withdraw (although if the dealer can sell on the order you should get it back at a later date - should be easy with the Taycan, given the length of the order book). One question that I forgot to ask the salesman, we paid a £5k deposit but is the price I pay the current one or is it what the price will be next year? Decent 9000 mile review here of the CT: https://youtu.be/IExib0QwWuA
His thoughts are the same as mine. I’m only 3000 miles in, but I’m increasingly taking it out just for a drive now the weather is better.
Interestingly he didn’t spec RAS, PDCC or PTV+ and he’s still very impressed with the handling.

4,100+ miles here and the same. Smitten. His thoughts are the same as mine. I’m only 3000 miles in, but I’m increasingly taking it out just for a drive now the weather is better.

I have even been offering to drive (forgoing the booze) at evenings/weekends, if wife and I and/or friends and I are going into town. A few think I am mad to leave it in the street, but I decided I am just going to use the thing, park it up as a normal car and hope for the best...
Just want my bike rack to arrive at OPC.
Sold ours today back to the dealer from whom we purchased them.
We put them out for bids to all the usual suspects and OPC's were bidding far higher than the independant specialists.
Also when you sell you actually get to see the real picture with many of the cars being advertised for "overs" being SOR rather than actual stock.
Bottom line is we got list price + 1% for the combined value of both vehicles (a saloon 4S and a CT4S) which given the saloon was 5 months old we were pretty happy with.
In reality the Saloon was -£9K and the CT was +£11.5 on list price.
It's a shame it didn't work out for us but we got out pretty much scott free which actually feels like a result.

Anyone got any idea what is going on with CT prices on the Porsche website? They have all disappeared but the prices for everything else are still there, are they changing a model year or bumping up prices?

Looks like the Configurator has been updated with new options and a price rise for MY23 cars.
Anyone else got a GTS ST coming this summer? How have your delivery times been affected by things?
Ours has has arrived at the dealership, but it’s on display for a couple of months until they get another display model, because of the various supply issues we’re still waiting confirmation on when the next display model will arrive so we can collect ours…

Test drove a turbo yesterday. First porsche and first EV and loved it. Power is instant and impressively quick .. cabin lovely 0lace to be. Decided on black with the carbon finish wheels. Just got to wait until next year now! My countach in their car park caused a bit of a stir amongst the black and grey porsches!

Will make a great compliment to your existing garage.Apropos the Taycan interior, is it me, or is there something very Rover SD1 about it? Which is not bad thing at all. In fact, to me, the Turismo is very much a contemporary 4 seat hatch, a kind of mash up of SD1 and a 4 door 928.

When I had a 4S CT on test, I also felt it was a perfect RS4 replacement (I have a B7).
GTS ST on order....I imagine it will arrive Q1 next year with luck.

I'm struggling with the comparison with the SD1 (my Dad had a woefully under-power 2.3 version!)When I had a 4S CT on test, I also felt it was a perfect RS4 replacement (I have a B7).

Same for me (to replace a B8 RS4)
Hoping my GTS ST will arrive before September this year!
