Ok but both are good with cars and easily jump in and out. That said, it is quite the leap and will need the rear covering in PPF to protect the rear from claws etc.

great pic! I am due to drive the same car wednesday, interesting comments on the PSP, i was intending to spec rear wheel steer which comes with PSP so may not do that now.

Me too. I really wanted rear steer for low speed manoeuvring but PSP made such a massive change to the steering that my Tesla Model 3 had better feedback…..

I spent the whole time trying to figure out why the steering felt too light and flighty then I checked the spec sheet.

Oh one other thing, if you’re like to have your seat low and the steering wheel low and fully extended, you will need to spec HUD as in 3 out of the 4 display modes you can’t read the speed. HUD will fix this, can’t help but think this is intentional.

Good feedback thanks. I do like to have the seat low but also need to fit car seats in! Fingers crossed this car works for us because I really want one!

How’s the power of the 4S?

Honestly it’s fine, but my M3P feels and is faster. I am tempted to change to a Turbo but I still think the 4S is better value. But faster is better right?

Not sure it is in an alectric car….I would take range over 0-60 any day.

I think turbo & turbo s prices push you into a different league of car and not sure I could live with 280 (or less) miles of range for that money? 4S with some decent options around £98k while still a lot of ££ appears to be the pick, for me at least

Totally agree. Range is king, I got 230 (motorway) miles last week. But if the Ionity network keeps improving, I can live with that.

Can you expect to haggle any discount on a factory order on these?

Is the extra power of the Turbo and TS only in overboost during acceleration?

When we went on a test drive we followed the salesman who was driving a Turbo and we were in a 4S. At the end of the drive I asked him on the couple of occasions he gave it beans was a fully flat and he was. We all agreed there wasn't a £20k+ uplift in performance and the 4S is the sweet spot. Which is still a damn fast car.

I genuinely don't understand why you'd buy a Turbo or Turbo S over a 4S, the cost delta seems to fall very clearly into the law of diminishing returns.

Normal mode - 4s 490ps , Turbo 623ps , Turbo S 623ps . Over boost is only in launch mode . Performance on all cars is affected by which mode you are in due to the 2 speed rear axle .

I'd rather have more power than the 4s - it felt about the same performance as my I Pace so the Turbo will be great .

So far, bar a few little details the major update to the 2022 model year seems to be Android Auto, which is certainly a good thing as I'm not an Apple user.

Looks like America is getting Paint to Sample also. I wonder if we will? Oak Green Metallic would look lovely on a CT.

Forest green for me, would really suit the CT I reckon.

Confirmation today that our delivery date has moved from the end of July to the end of August. In which case we'll aim to pick it up in September on the new plate.

Apparently there was a fire at the semi conductor factory

Drive the blue 4S at Swindon today. Lovely car, loads of power but not crazy fast. Will be placing an order but I think gentian blue has dropped off my shortlist though… didn’t work for me! Struggling with the colour choice badly, think I will end up with free black and spend the paint money elsewhere on the options list
