6 months in with my Turbo S CT now.

Going in for the replacement fixed heater today and getting a Macan from Porsche assistance.

Been fantastic all rounder and can't think of anything else I'd rather daily.

Absolutely monstered through our recent floods jacked up in gravel mode.

Averaging 210 miles winter range at the moment. I haven't had to even install a hone charger - just have the porsche connect plug in timed to charge it overnight, since I only do a 100 mile office run every few days its always recharged whenever I need it and haven't had to use public chargers more than a couple of times.

Lucky you - I've been given a battered Audi A4. 2021 plate, 40k miles, turned up manky. Oh...the the infotainment is fked so no radio, music or telephone. At least it's warm though, eh biggrin

I did have to wait 2 months for the booking, although ironically that meant I got in on the first week of the redesigned heater upgrade campaign.

Hopefully given how long the car has been in production now they have finally built a heater that doesn't break.

They did want to charge me 35 quid to replace my battery keyfob - a less than 3 minute job and 2.50 battery which I declined on principle as I already bought the batteries.

I got given a brand new Macan T fresh from reading with 23 miles on the clock.

It's a nice enough thing for plodding about in but after the turbo S the complete lack of grunt was quite a shock.

I think my taycan has ruined me for life. Its so blisteringly quick point to point that it now makes cars that are respectively fast feel like something from the iron age so not sure what I could ever replace it with.

About the only thing on my radar that I'm waiting to see how it turns out will be the 2025/6 Alfa Quadrafoglio EV. If it comes out in a shooting brake rather than saloon as Alfa indicated then it could be quite a thing.

Don't think I will be going back to ICE now though.

Car is back looking a lot cleaner than when I dropped it off.

Nice to have a working heater again, hopefully this fixed version will put an end to the saga.

Instant smile getting back into it from the Macan T loaner. The way it accelerates, corners and grips is still mind blowing even after 6 months and still makes me laugh out loud when I punch past an overtake in sports plus.

Got a £1k credit from my OPC as part of their 'heater campaign'. Will pay for the £650 'brake fluid' service and some other stuff.

Nope. I politely declined a loan vehicle. So I spent a good few weeks of winter driving a VW T6 kombi van. If Porsche had any idea how long those things take to heat up I'd be getting at least £2k. hehe

Perhaps it was cause I had mine done twice and was going on about how it's the worst Porsche I've ever had? Maybe they just felt sorry for me, who knows.

Sorry for you?! FFS. I think VW picked the smallest car heater system they had in the VAG parts bin for the VW T6. Reckon it's off an Up. Barely adequate for a Polo, let alone a whole van.

Hi all, can anyone help me figure out why my Taycan 4S CT might be ignoring the charging profile I've set up and is instead direct charging whenever i plug it in at home? I've deleted and reinstated the profile, checked and unchecked the direct charging option both on the app and in the car, but every time I insert the charging plug it starts charging irrespective of the state of charge. I suspect this is user error, but before I spend some time going into this further, I wondered if it was a known issue with a resolution? Thanks!
