I understand the panoramic roof adds extra rear headroom. Every panoramic roof I’ve had previously (Mercedes) has squeaked and ended up annoying me immensely.

Anyone have this option who could comment?

Absolutely no squeaks whatsoever as its a fixed single pane and doesn't open. However it does make the interior warmer on a hot day which can add extra load on the AC.

I’ve got it and no squeaks but never had squeaks on any other car with it to be honest.
You should know that there is no shade like other cars I’ve had, only had mine a month and it’s garaged so perhaps too early to say if the car gets “too hot” with it

Ours is garaged and 100% wouldn't want to keep it parked up in hot sun for a lengthy time. The Pano roof adds a lot to the rear passengers in terms of ambience and headroom although it comes with a cost of making the interior hotter on a hot day. People who claim otherwise are either spouting rubbish or never driven it on a hot day.

It probably adds about 2cm extra headroom looking at it. My kids do enjoy the view, but there’s no real awareness of it from the drivers seat. I specced it as it’s a bit of a ‘signature’ option. The benefit is mainly for rear seat passengers, so that’s what you need to consider. I think it’s a nice contrast to lighter shades of paint. If you go darker, say volcano or gentian then I don’t think there’s much visual impact to be gained (subjective of course).

Good info thanks. I’m thinking of ice grey and will make sure I get the four zone air con too.

I’ve got an ice grey loaner for the day with the Pano roof, will try and post a quick picture for you……

I would also agree that as the driver you don’t really benefit much or even notice the panoramic roof, it’s just outside your vision

Also without the pan roof you get the nice lines on the roof in the metalwork
