I've noticed that the power on my Taycan CT Turbo seems to drop off markedly as the range drops . Even with 100miles range it wouldn't give full power . I've only experienced this in the really cold weather .

It makes overtaking interesting when your not sure you'll get full power or not

Anyone else noticed this or does my car have an issue that needs investigating?

Chuck some more Double A's in.

Joking aside, welcome to electric car ownership. You'll need a completely different mindset. It's taken me 5 years to finally realise electric makes a good town car.

Everything else is drawn-out and requires planning and a gentle right foot.

Only ever noticed any power loss on a 4S when it's really low... like 15 miles.

Mine (Turbo) does the same, but whilst it does feel a little bit slower it is not drastic and would not play a role in overtaking etc. If yours is more drastic, I'd investigate...

It can be seen in the dial in the centre of the console. As you get to 20% it seems to decrease progressively but you can see how much you have to play with.

Thanks for that .
Mine definitely drops with plenty range left.
It’s booked in for a brake issue so I’ll get them to check this too .
