Watching 5th gear, it's pretty crap these days and they are reviewing a Dacia duster.

The guy just pronounced it datch-e-a, compared to top gear (clearly the be all and end all of automotive knowledge) pronouncing it day-see-a

So what is it?

And finally, they have a competition, giving away a 1998 carrera 4. Wow, really pushing the boat out there, giving away a 13 year old mid spec car!!

When I were a lad, the bloke living next to us had a Dacia Duster (complete with parts from a Morris Marina I believe) and he always referred to it as a Day-see-a.

There were no Marina parts in a Duster, unless he had pimped his ride smile

Day-see-ya.

There are a few 911 C4's on autotrader starting at about £12,500 on Autotrader an £10,500 on PH Classifieds. Wasn't the prize a Mk2 Golf GTi once? hehe

Is that genuine?
It's overdubbed, and I'm wondering why that guy is looking all smug in a brown budget 4x4

Plenty of pronunciation variations to choose from then biggrin
Nothing wrong with a 996 C4 either, they sound pretty good.

Wow, so nice to give away a car that may well need a £5-6k engine overhaul some time soon hehe

With the insurance service and tax costs of a £70k sports car! "thanks for the prize, but I haven't got the £4k my insurer wants. And how much did you say a tyre is???"

How'd it do? demand five seems unwell. Anyone else think it would be great to if they made a Duster R like the Juke except more subtle?

Old Da-C.I.A's were basically old Renault 12s.
