Not sure if there's a thread running elsewhere, but Dacia are to enter the large SUV market, after the success in the small market with the Duster. This is the Bigster. I think it looks great.

It is just a concept

And it is maybe coming to the UK

AND it may be here before 2025

ANNNND it might look a bit like that if/when it does.

But it does look ace.

Looks bloody awful. Like it was designed by an etch-a-sketch.

Easy Lego model though.

Stupid name. Rear lights remind me of plastic wall-ties.

Apart from the rear lights I think that's a better looker than the updated Defender, if you want a chunky looking car.

If it looks anything like this and they price it like a Dacia, they will sell loads, I might even buy one. Love the Duster but its too small, so I'd be interested in an entry spec one of these, as I've been looking for something that sits between a Landover Defender and a Jeep Cherokee in concept

I was thinking more a chunkified Disco, but yes, looks ace.

Ideally made with bolt on panels to aid repairs and a genuine 4wd option

I have to say, I am a big fan. And, oddly, I really like the name too. I think it's memorable and charming in a market full of stuff badged to sound rough and tough.

It's based on old Renault architecture so won't even have a decent engine. frown

Likely to have hybrid/electric drive train so let’s see what they offer before writing it off.

Latest Sandero has just won Whatcar overall car of the year, that comes with some quite decent current gen engines, also available as bi-fuel

Like that, big Tonka Toy look. If your neighbour also gets one can you add a tow bar or a roof rack and call it minesbigsterest?

That's fantastic.

A parody of all the motorised gin palaces sold by Land Rover, Porsche, Audi and the like.

It even sounds like it was named by Donald Trump.

cool
