Anyone know when delivery will start taking place? Sales chap I've been dealing with doesn't know, waiting to hear from dacia, another chap I spoke to said 6 months. Was hoping a pre-order would make it quicker, really wanted it for August.
Just taken delivery of my comfort model. Pre ordered it in January. I must say it's an absolute cracker of a car. I'm used to much more expensive cars and bought this just to have 7 seats for the grandkids on the odd occasion. Very impressed with what you get for 16kPls1745 said:

Excellent. What colour did you go for?Just a standard white one. I did toy with the idea of the metallic but my wife usually scratches em to bits in car parks so I thought I would save a few quid. It's a really good car and the dealer offered me £ 1k if I didn't buy it.... It's a great drive plenty of power nice and stable. The rear view mirror seems strange objects appear small. The infotainment works well. Not tried cruise yet and I'm still waiting for my jogger mats to arrive
Interestsed in these, I test drove one last week and was very inpressed. I was expecting to be completely put off by a <1litre engine but it does the job well for a runaround.
I test drove on Monday- found out there had been a 1300 price bump over the weekend which ireitated me enough to not put a deposit down. One of the few times when spending time on car forums would have been financially rewarding!
For the chap that bought a comfort model- does it have wireless android auto? Can't decide from the spec sheet if it is only wired on that model.
Thanks

It's wired, wireless is on the Extreme SE. I test drove on Monday- found out there had been a 1300 price bump over the weekend which ireitated me enough to not put a deposit down. One of the few times when spending time on car forums would have been financially rewarding!

I'm a big fan of Dacia, but fear with the price and spec hikes, and the anti cool following they have, they are moving in the position where Skoda once were. When Dacia inevitably becomes a product of their own success, who us going to sweep in and take the bottom of the market? Any current overseas brands, or maybe a defunct brand waiting to be resurrected, or just the Chinese.

Exactly this, but I hope Dacia sticks to its ethos a while longer. I imagine Renault thought it had a potential replacement lined-up with its Lada brand… but doubt there’ll be much support for Russian products in Europe now. This is interesting - brand new Dacias in stock in the UK, including some models in high demand.
