I had a day off and it was not raining so it was ideal opportunity to wire brush the rear drum brakes and give them a coat of hammerite.

Before my eye was drawn to the slight surface rust which let the otherwise clean and tidy car down, it looks good now though.

Do they have bad build quality?
Mine is well below par.

Front wings misaligned which throws bonnet gap off, dent on rear quarter and boot was wonky.

A bit st really and has been a hassle to sort.
My logan is OK, the panel gaps are a bit bigger than a premium car, but that is to be expected. No issues with alignment of bits though. Only thing I've really had an issue with was wind noise, but easily sorted it.

Anyone else here have quality issues?
My Duster has a highly irritating creak from the rear on uneven ground which I think is the boot lid moving around on the seals. I think the latch wants adjusting

Given my other car is an old Defender, I thought I had quite a high tolerance of squares and rattles laugh

As we now have a new Dacia forum, I wondered if there were any new Dacia owners floating about? Any Logan drivers? Any classic/non UK model car owners out there?

Seen a couple in that colour, refreshing in a sea of monochrome.

I’ve finally been here long enough to post this now.

3 weeks ago I picked up a 2015 4x4 Access spec Duster and have been thoroughly enjoying it.
Although it’s an Access, it did come with a Dacia radio and front speakers, rear parking sensors and mud flaps. Though that may have something to do with it being owned from new by a council and used as a response vehicle for their home care services, which makes sense given the rather rural and steep filled area they cover.

Enjoy, a base spec with 4x4 is a good find, the connoisseur's choice! It's a shame they no longer offer such an option as that's what I would have chosen.

I’m definitely enjoying it, I think there’s something just right about a white one with big black plastic bumpers and steel wheels.
I originally thought I’d end up removing the wheel trims fitted by the dealer, but they actually seem to suit it the more I look at them.
Though I’m sure they’ll come off when I get around to replacing the Chinese brand tyres for some AT’s later in the year

Here is my Sandero Stepway. I bought it from new as it was within budget and had everything I wanted in a car. It has done me very well over the 14 months I have owned it. It regularly gets high 50s mpg on petrol and mid 40s on LPG when I can find some. Last year I drove it from John o Groats to Lands end non stop with a friend who was in his jag xj diesel and was sure his car could make it but mine couldnt without filling up. I finished with more spare fuel than he did.
Other adventures its had include pulling a suzuki jimny out of a ditch, suprising an obnoxious corsa at the lights and completing the NC500.
I havent seen any quality issues on mine but maybe I just got lucky. It seems like a very well made car and so far hasnt let me down.

I found some Renault steelies that fit, from a Talisman.

This website has all the stuff that'll fit.

..and a gratuitous pic. I'm still waiting on the tyres to arrive..... (BFGoodrich Ko2 with white lettering!)

These one aren't standard though, I had them banded 1 1/2" and then powder coated.
I want to see this finished please!
Sorry for the tardy reply!
