Didn't realise. I bought my petrol 1.0 last year and it was advertised as 100bhp.
So does mine, shows as 100tce which i assumed was 100 bhp.
Depends on what year yours is. Apologies, I should have clarified if it was the newer model.

Pre facelift you could get a 1.0 TCE 100 without bi fuel

my average is 46mpg so far. It's just a lot of car for the money.
How are you managing that? We've had ours five weeks now and are up to 56.6MPG brim to brim - 2300 miles.
I don't generally drive with economy in mind... But it's up to 50mpg now so all is good!

I have heard someone say they got 800miles out of a tank, and while that is pretty impressive, driving in that manner would soon drive me dappy!

The more I drive this car the more I like it, way more than my previous 1l LPG Comfort.

I'm sure I've read somewhere that whilst yours and mine are indeed a whopping 100bhp, the newer models are rated at 90bhp.

I don't know why though.

Emissions?
Someone with more knowledge than I have will either confirm this or tell me I'm talking nonsense, but I seem to remember reading something about the 90bhp version came in with the six speed gearbox (as opposed to the previous version's five speed) so the emissions were lower but the extra ratio gave similar performance to the 100bhp version. I could be wrong, of course.

My Logan Mcv has gone onto pastures new after catastrophic engine failure at 165,000 miles or so, it was a 0.9 Tce in laureate spec. It was due to be replaced soon due to licensing regulations on age limit of vehicles.

Replaced it a shiny new 22 reg Hyundai Ioniq HEV picked up 10 weeks ago with 17 miles on dash now showing just under 8k.

This is our new Sandero Stepway. It's the 1.0 90 but I have no idea what the spec is as we bought it in Spain
and didn't get much of a choice other than colour!

Same money as a high mileage Focus, but with 5 years warranty and servicing, plus a year's insurance. Seemed like a no-brainer. smile

It's not quick, but it seems well put together and relatively refined. No sat nav, but keyless and auto lights/wipers etc. It'll do us for getting bashed into by Spanish drivers!

Its certainly one of the better looking small hatches, not too fussy, but with some nice details. Some cars are just very over-styled to my eyes, like they couldn't stop designing.

Any automatic Dacia owners/drivers on here? How is the auto gearbox and is there any evidence as to whether they are reliable or not?

This generation of Spring isn't coming to the UK (unfortunately or I'd buy one), my guess is on either Bigster, or more likely the hybrid Jogger

Thanks. I have an MCV with the same engine so hopefully you were just unlucky.

Me too, pretty sure I won't still have it when it has 165k miles on the clock though

My Duster.

Gave it a wash today as the kids were at their grandparents.

Nearly 2000 miles on the clock. Seems to be averaging low 40's mpg (1.3TCe).

Still basically immaculate apart from a single tiny ding where I swung the tow bar into the side of it cry

Has anyone got any recommendations for aftermarket steel wheels?

I like these from 4x4 tyres but despite popping up when you google Dacia Duster steel wheels they're the wrong fitment and the ones they do for the Duster don't really float my boat.

New branding for the dusters.

Really like the new logo on it.
