Do we reckon that means Ott will go to Ford then?
I think he will. The only reason it doesn't happen is money.Ford need a proven team leader and Tanak wants a true No1 role, and it would be the best for the championship to have the talent spread around. The only barrier is funding I think, but I expect it to happen.

I dont get why they dont give others a chance for part time drives. I know Breen has experience, but why not give a part time ride to Lindholm or Gryazin or someone like that?
Breen brings cash. and hes irish. Ireland is filthy with f****g Hyundais... even the Gardai drive themegomeister said:

I can’t see Ott being too demanding for money. I doubt Toyota will change anything next year so his only options are Ford or as a privateer with his own team but that’s a step up from where they are at the moment. Toyota have now confirmed they will run the same drivers without Lappi (with Katsuta taking the third points car when Ogier isn't running), so that door is closed for now.The money aspect for Tanak is likely to be as much confirmation there is the budget there to develop the car to the level he needs it to be as much as salary. I can't see him sitting a year out though, so I expect it all be tied up soon.
Both the WRC & ERC calendars released on Friday; no real surprises, though an interesting new event, the Central European Rally, taking in stages from Germany, Austria & Czech Rep....

Don't you just wish that in the UK an Evans or Meeke or Breen would come and do an event like this? Why are the Belgians seemingly more involved with their own countries events than the Brits are? Neuville has done this sort of stuff for years, you go to the bigger events there and find a Snjijers, Gaban, Munster, Verrydt, Neuville, Thiry or Loix even, and good old Paul Liaeter and his even growing fleet of old cars, I know a few Bris do it over here, but nowhere near as many.
I just think Belgium is more in touch with rally fans and history than over here sadly.

Breen was leading initially then dropped behind Greer in his 4wd Sapphire ,now not showing on results so somethings gone wrong . Edit , dead heat with one stage remaining and Breen broke a half shaft on the start line , Greer had already loaned him a diff , sportsmanship.
