I'm blown away by the amount of folk just watching the ceremonial start, the street looks jammed.

Several comments regarding a taste of the original RAC's, talking of which; been sent this.

Great atmosphere by the looks of it , if Meeke gets to the finish he'll win failing that my money is on McCormack , Pryce is in a rental and Pritch doesn't want a repeat of last time so I think they'll both leave a bit in reserve .
I've done 3 day events in the past , 5 days makes me tired just thinking about it . Should be a corker

As a teenager in the 80s I absolutely loved following the rally on Top Gear with Woolard and Tony Mason out in the field. It was a dream to be at these rallies that didn't come for a few years later. I remember spending hours waiting on the Ceefax pages "turning" too. How times have changed.

I’m hoping to go to the Crychan stage in the morning. How early should I get there to ensure I can park?

I thought you could buy car tickets on the gate?

I’m rooting for car 173, Owen and Ryan, nicely beating their seeding at the moment, in what amounts to being a Road Rally car really!
And young Corey in Car 174

I rooting for the stratos, unbelievable it’s running in top 5 and having wheels driven off it.

Yeah, realistically I am too, but I’m not convinced it will last.
They rarely did back in the day!

It will be very easy to find parking. That's handy.

I've been following this - doesn't it look bloody great. As others have said, just needs a bit of Woollard and Mason and I'd be taken back to childhood!

Sweet Lamb now closed to speccy's, it's full. Quite popular this historic rallying.

Just finished breaking down Crychan/Esgair Berffud

A cracking couple of days - 3 stages and things settling now into a good battle at the head of the field.

Some lovely comments from the foreign crews (and their families and teams).

Solberg was looking very fast and in control. Some of the others were quite ‘frantic’ through the stage.
