You cannot say a lot can you, other than he was probably doing something he loved, the sad bit is he was very into his sport and also was great at doing events all over the place and doing historic stuff back home, a big loss, and we do seem to suffer greatly with losing people in rallies, about time the luck changed!
Indeed, nothing to say other than a massive loss frown

It's not tragic to die doing what you love, and for him competing at the top level of rallying would have been right up there for sure.

I saw a simple white on black post by Chris Harris on instagram and assumed it was a phone autocorrect for Craig Breedlove because I had not seen or heard anything else.

Tragic, here was a bloke living his dream to the full, and wasn’t afraid to tell people how much fun he was having.

I had high hopes for a world championship from him.

Still rather stunned, it's just gutting. He always stood out to me as such an enthusiastic guy, so clearly happy to be out there, and his stage-end interviews when he was running well were just pure joy - after Sweden I was really hoping we'd get to see his reaction to a rally win soon, what a shame it'll never happen. I'm glad Sweden happened though, and he got to go out on a high after the frustrations of 2022, at least our final memories of him can be of the happy Breen, full of smiles and enthusiasm.

Wonderful, yet heartbreaking.

I was going to post the “Second chance, I’m a lucky boy” clip last night, but decided against it ...
Lovely of the FIA to post such a wonderful tribute.
I’m looking forward to Dirtfish’s tribute, I hope it’s a celebration of the man, his talent, his heart on his sleeve emotions and his fantastic sense of humour and self deprecating manner. A truly wonderful human being rallying has lost (the second this year) frown

Such sad news May he test in piece.

Touching tribute here from one of the worlds greatest rally drivers.....

On a day like this the sun does not seem to rise. A dark cloud has covered the Irish and the global rallying family.
Unreal news: Craig is not with us anymore. This cannot happen!

Craig's passion for driving, any car, anytime, was unstoppable.
Nothing was too small for him. He came to Finland to learn snow driving and did a little Riihimäki rally in a privately built old Peugeot.
I was proud when Craig came to my home event Itäralli 2020.
After enjoying a smoke sauna, he was not afraid to jump into an icy river in the middle of the winter night.

His eyes were bright, his smile was contagious. He represented Irish fairplay at its best.
With Craig's passion, one can move mountains.

I am priviliged to know Craig's parents, Ray and Jackie, his sister Kellie and his girlfriend Tamara.
Since many years, we watched The Thousand Lakes Rally together cheering Craig.
A close-knit, warm family. They lived with Craig his every up and down.
I cannot imagine their torment.
May Lord give them strength to pass what is humanly unpassable.

Life takes incredible twists.
Gareth "Jaffa" Roberts, the co-driver of Craig, and Craig died in similar accidents.
They were like shooting stars.
They gave wings to the dreams of many.
Now they are back together in Heaven.

Absolutely gutted. Just came across as a lovely bloke who adored his sport, and had bags of talent. Going to be missed by everyone.

He was one of us, a 'bobble hatter'; but just happened to have the talent to take it to the top level. And quite often driving an historic car on a club/national event. He was due to drive at Goodwood's Members Meeting over the weekend - but nice to see he got a mention or two.

Very sad that there’s been no article on the homepage about this.

Craig was the absolute epitome of a petrolhead.

PH, sort it out!
