for a bit of international flavour, the first cars have arrived here in UAE also. the dealer has slowly yet successfully revived lotus as a brand here and pricing is inline with uk which is rare, so hopefully they will sell. seems to be a fair amount of anticipation with those who currently own broncos, f150s and the like. bronco is priced above the grenadier for a similarly specced car.

My Grenadier at the dealer after arriving yesterday at noon. I don't know when I'll be able to drive it away as it needs a PDI, side steps and mats adding, a software flash and registration. Ineos need to send me an invoice too, as the dealer is an agent, not the vendor.
Ahhhh. I'd love a Santana like that one
I don’t mind these but that’s what I see. A slightly not right LR.

Will probably be fine when they take the camouflage panels off.

I received my Grenadier on Saturday at 11:00, there are probably not more than 20 registered to private owners and on the road in the UK, although I expect it to go up rapidly from now on.

First impressions; what I expected, but quieter and more wieldy.

Popped in to see one being driven out of Lloyds showroom on Saturday-the first customer car.

Demo is in the country apparently.

I'd be interested to know from those who have ordered one, what vehicle it will be replacing? How many buyers are coming from working pickups, legacy Defenders, family SUVs, or something completely different?

Ineos describe it as "Scottish White" over "Britannia Blue"; the marketing blurb say it is a tribute to Scottish legs in summer: https://mediaevents.ineosgrenadier.com/en/home/pre...

It is a 5 seat Utility Station Wagon with a few options added. Unlike the Belstaff editions it is taxed and insured as a van, (N1).

My Grenadier replaces a 1989 LR110CSW, that had a chassis up rebuild and a 200Tdi, finished in 2011, then was driven 200k and was ready for another rebuild/refresh. I sold it last August. My wife was fed up pushing it, being cold, rattled about and I really did not fancy another rebuild. I still have a LR90 2.5NA.

has the roof been strengthened with some internal roll over protection ? the silver bar within the upper window looks like it runs the length of the roof internally?

They’re not windows, they’re rails to strap Walting accessories to the top of it.

One of my neighbours just gone one in. black, I followed him yesterday so got a good look. I quite liked it, although there's a lot of plastic dotted around it.

Probably being sold by one of the Execs who've recently left to "pursue other projects".

There are a couple on Autotrader now.

I quite fancy the one this one, as it has a really special engine.

I thought they came pre-wired which is one of the Grenadier's great design points, See here 15m45s
