Recently purchased a Fieldmaster. Expectations have been surpassed. Steering not an issue, footwell not an issue. Went for a petrol. Engine is smooth and quiet. Averaging in the low 20's.

Car is full of charm and character and rides better than either of our Dicovery or Velar. Let's see what happens when / if the novelty wears off...

Fantastic, looks great. They are excellent vehicles.

I vaguely wish I’d got a petrol one. I’ve only had mine for 5 months and done 4k miles, I like it more now than did when I got it - it’s not a novelty.

Yep. Steering is a total non issue, get used to in minutes. It has a big turning circle but if you’re used to driving a van it’s fine.

The footwell thing, I could see it being a problem if you’re short or have the seat set very low. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest.

I’ve had mine 5 months, just had its first service at 5k miles. No problems at all with it, it suits us perfectly for what we wanted/needed.

Seems an early service. Is that classed as a running in one or is it 5 k intervals?

Mine is showing service in 29days ish. Called my local dealership to book 1st service and they said its not due until 12months of 12k miles (car registered in Sept 23).

Service indicator warning will be reset when serviced. Approx price of 1st service £500 incl. VAT

It was 12 months, I bought mine pre-reg or maybe cancelled order.

455 incl vat and a courtesy car, all fluids incl diffs, both gearboxes (and engine obviously) and filters.
