Super Cat - Cat C - what's it worth?
Discussion
Afternoon,
I'm trying to decide how much a Tiger Suoer Cat that was written off as a Cat C 8 years ago is worth now?
It's a 1800 zetec and was repaired by Tiger themselves with a new chassis and anything else that was required.
It's been back on the road for over 6 years and is in decent fettle but nothing outrageous.
Opinions welcomed.
Thanks

have to agree with the above....a kit car by nature is an ever evolving vehicle, a look at most/all of the chassis show that they can be repaired/rebuilt relatively easily.
if the car was repaired properly, is well presented, has documentation to prove that it was done as stated then it comes down to personal choice - ie/ whether you think the price is fair in comparison to others. I don't think that it would automatically be considered to be £x less than one that wasn't a write off....
it could be argued that a well repaired insurance job could end up better than something else that was knocked up 1st time around by someone who lacked much in the way of ability!
