Just finishing the new 270hp duratec engine installation and pneumatic paddle shift for my elite sequential along with TC/LC/data logging. Next up is some more carbon, hispec rear brakes and a hi port head to take it to 300hp, n/a of course. But first, summer use coming up!

Mine is a Honda Blackbird 1100cc powered Formula 27 factory built. Looks pretty similar to the one in the post above!

I have had this car for some years and due to work commitments and such like the restoration has dragged on a bit. I got the 1989 Sylva Pheonix from a very good friend who raced her all over the UK for some four odd years. So as an ex race car she came with some battle scars which I have been trying to put right. It's fitted with an early Mk1 escort 1.6 GT Kent engine (looking for a 711M block and crank)

It's not a picture (there's one of mine a few pages back) but this is what I did with mine on Tuesday...

It's a day at Gurston Down hill climb school. Don't be too critical please it was my first time doing this sort of thing and with the benefit of hindsight I can see where I could have been quicker (everywhere)... that road is narrow when you're on it though wink

Cheers,

Mark

Although my cobra itch has long since been scratched, I would quite happily scratch myself raw like a flea ridden dog for one of those if my euro numbers come up! And great to see a cheaper, just as high quality British alternative to Kirkham smile
