Hi all. Thanks for your comments.
The colour is Ferrari paint code FER312 (sorry don’t know what it’s name is)
The leather dash trimming was £270.
I think that I'll be giving your trimmer a call. I collected a couple of dashboards and a set of dials yesterday. One of the dashboards might be destroyed when I try to add some wood trim. The colour is Ferrari paint code FER312 (sorry don’t know what it’s name is)

Rubino is FER-308. I can't find FER312, but there is a colour FER-321 (Rosso Fiorano) ( Red Ferrari Paint Colours )

Please could you send me the details of the trimmer you used as it looks like they did a cracking job and my GT40 dash needs a trim soon. The colour is Ferrari paint code FER312 (sorry don’t know what it’s name is)

Keep up the great work.
Cheers

This is the one, don’t know if the ‘c’ after fer312 makes any difference.
Are you doing a wood veneer insert with the dash?
If I were doing it, I would use solid, as I don't have the skill to work with veneer. He might prefer one over the other.
I'm thinking of leather and wood, but I'll ask the man, as he does this sort of thing all the time.
One thing that I am thinking about (and so is CC) is converting the temperature rotary dials to sliders.

Thanks for your comments, it means a lot from a Z3 owner! Have you still got the 3litre one? I just bought one and the power difference even compared to the 2.8 is very noticeable.
Nope, I sold the Z3 coupe 3.0 because my project car was ready, but that one is on sale also, because of the 'bad' trigger it gaves me after a almost 4 year traject. But to be honest, its fun driving when the road ahead gives you some free moving space ;-)
this is my Z3 s65, a Z3 with e9x M3 V8 and 445ps with 6-speed also from the M3 V8 models.
The car is finished thanks to all the ‘lock down’ time. Really pleased with the finished result and the car stance is so much better with the track reduction and camber conversion, definitely worth the extra effort.
Looking forward to doing some drives out once we are all back to some sort of normality.

Stopped the advert for the car for the time being. Probably nott a good time to try selling with the current situation, 4,000 views though! Gassing Station | Kit Cars | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
