IVA Test Chassis number help

Can anyone help, does the Chassis plate have to show the full 17 digits of the chassis number to pass the IVA, if my chassis has the full number stamped on the chassis leg.

For IVA you will need the whole 17 characters stamped into the chassis at the offside front of the vehicle.
You will also need a VIN plate also stamped with the VIN and the axle weights, total weight and manufacturers name all in capital letters.

Download the IVA manual for M1 vehicles and have a read as the layout of the VIN plate is also quite specific. I've had a car fail on this point.

The placement of the plate, and numbers stamped/etched onto the chassis are also important.
