any-one fitted a Jag S Type 3ltr engine and box?
Discussion
Yes I still have the mould, made it in PrePreg.
Think its unlikely to fit under the bonnet of a TVR though, guess i could measure the entire height of the engine with the intake on it.
Id say the rocketeer one would be more suited as mines specifically made for a turbo application but theirs is for NA.

How tall is it from the flange at the top of the ITB's to the top face and the intake dia.Think its unlikely to fit under the bonnet of a TVR though, guess i could measure the entire height of the engine with the intake on it.

I'm thinking having flanges and small upstands made to fit the heads then short flex hoses to the plenum and 65mm TB at the mouth of the plenum?
If I'm following what your suggesting you would end up with way too short runners and loose loads of power... plus my intake is designed for ITB's so I think it would be too big for a single throttle body I'm afraid.
If you have access to a Mill you could replicate my ITB's and carbon plenum relatively cheaply, however if you pay people to do the 'making' you will be looking at £5k.

yeah - I think the runners need to be about 250 to 300mm minimum from head flange to bell mouth inside the plenum. does that sound about right? If you have access to a Mill you could replicate my ITB's and carbon plenum relatively cheaply, however if you pay people to do the 'making' you will be looking at £5k.
Sorry about my lack of knowledge, about the engine in question.
Is it the one Mads Lund used, in his M?

Worth mentioning the engine has an identical bottom end to a Mondeo, so you can fit a sump from one of them which has the bowl at the gearbox side rather than the front of the engine which might help with your roll bar etc
I that won't work then I actually have access to some titan dry sump kits that use the stock pump for pressure and external scavenge that would give you loads of clearance under the engine... instead of over £1500 i can get these for £500 as new old stock!
Hi andygtt, bit of a long shot as this post was a while ago but can you still get your hands on the dry sump kits for the AJ30?I that won't work then I actually have access to some titan dry sump kits that use the stock pump for pressure and external scavenge that would give you loads of clearance under the engine... instead of over £1500 i can get these for £500 as new old stock!
