One year on... is there any new news please on the kit car front?

My dream of building something like a GT40 or a kit from Factory Five seems to be fading fast.

Short answer is: no, there isn't.

What you need to do is crack on. In theory, right now you have 7 years & 9 months.
I know someone who is building an Ultima RS (all new parts other than gearbox) and they are on course to complete it within a year. A GT40 (from Tornado or AK) can be done typically within a 2 year time frame.

Right now a bigger issue is whether any of us will be able to afford petrol to put in ICE cars or be allowed to drive it anywhere without charges, etc. (ULEZ).
