The car looks great, just a short question, in the sketch that car has a wing but the photos don't, will the final car have a wing?

It sure will!

The rear wing is still undergoing the design and analysis stage - it should make it to the show car for Autosport.

Steve, FYI I'm running I.E. 5.5 on Win 2000. To be honest the site has always acted a bit dodgy for me....but that could just be me

Just tried another computer running I.E. 5.5 and Win.ME.....still no pics.

Steve, please don't take this as a personal dig, because your site is just one of many......but, why not have a simple site that works for everyone, without the fancy stuff?
Simple sites can still be professional, and give people the info. they need without frustrating them.

Just a thought

I looked this morning and could see them - now I can't...

Perhaps they have been (re)moved?

Cheers, Phil

It will be interesting to see some photos of the real car because the artist's impression shows virtually no bump clearance in the wheel arches, and maybe an inch? of ground clearance at the front

Guys,

I have to apologise about the web-site - I suspect we're having major server problems again as I can't even download my e-mail now! It's not something I'm very happy about and I'm trying my best to get it sorted out asap.

I also suspect that our 'hit monitor' is slowing things condiderably because every time the site loads it has to load some kind of monitoring program to log hits. This procedure is taking a while and compounding the slow loading process.

We're not trying to have a 'fancy' web-site with all the bells and whistles. At the outset we were determined to have a site that was straightforward and easy to load - that was the criteria set out to our designer. The fact that it's causing problems for our site visitors is a major disappointment to me. Please bear with us while we sort it out.

There WERE pictures on the site on Saturday afternoon, where they've gone now I have no idea! (smeagol saw them!!)

I must also say that the styling sketches can't be taken to literally - they were produced to give some hints as to the form of the LMP. As is the norm with these things, some proportions are exaggerated (e.g. the wheels) to give a more dynamic impression. The actual car has 100mm ground clearance as standard and a 13° approach angle to clear speed humps, etc.

Please bear with us in the meantime - our web-site should be back to normal by Monday morning...

Steve,

Thanks for the new link.
I agree it does look nice IMO.

As I said before the website comment wasn't a dig at you just an observation of the type..."Oh look another fancy website that doesn't work"....I'll accept your comment that it is not fancy....the fact it doesn't work is what causes frustration

Anyway, best of luck with project.

There's nothing wrong with Coram's website. The photos were on there earlier that day but he took it off. Obviously, if the pictures aren't there, it can't be viewed...

Top marks to Smeagol for alertness!

Meerkat, I didn't take any offence at your comments - I see where you're coming from and it is exactly the same place as I am, so they were most welcome! However I was keen to let everyone know that it's not our intention to have a fancy site, just something that's straightforward and easy to interact with.

I promise the car won't be as slow as the site!!!

I'm confused, I thought Steve said there was a problem and the pictures disappeared.
Also several of us have been having problems.

I understand that if the pictures have gone they can't be seen...but there are other issues too...and Steve is aware of them.

OK - web-site sorted now. New pics are on there under the 'News' section and hopefully no-one will have problems with the loading speed... *crosses fingers*

Couldn't find the pictures on the Racecar website, only two pictures on the Coram website, unfortunately very arty but difficult to see any detail

stunning looks and performance, is it a module build? and what are the kits likely to cost?
