I'm hoping to buy a Westfield in the not too distant future (if I can sell my Elan). I've just seen a Zei for sale and was wondering what makes the Zei different from the Sei, if anything?
Thanks, Adam

It may be running a Zetec engine. Just a guess mind you.

Just to add to the flavour of 'I'm not really sure', I thought the ZEi was the type-approved model, and thus has some subtle differences (such as the bodywork around the front suspension).

How about you the factory , find out, and then us all?!?

Have just been scouring some Westfield sites, and you appear to be correct in what you say(moomin and twin40s). They seem to be a factory built special with slightly different bodywork. However, the Zei I was hoping to look at was sold this morning, and not to me, so its all irrelevant now.

I want a Sei/Zei preferably wide bodied but not too fussed. Want a nice modern 16 valve engine, would like a 2 ltr Vauxhall or Zetec, cycle wings, nice colour, weather gear(just in case). I want to spend about £10000, so hopefully I should get a good one thats only a few years old. I only need it as a weekend car really, just something to enjoy, hopefully do a few trackdays as well. Can't look too seriously though until I have sold my Elan.

With those requirements I really can't see there being much of a problem finding what you want, there are loads about, well there was last time I looked. Have you tried www.findit.co.uk normally quite a few Westi's on there.

Good luck, hope you get what you want.

Thanks for the offer, but I too want something faster. I'm sure I will find what I'm looking for when I am ready to buy.
