Hi,

I'm just curious if your out there. I'm perticularly interested in seeing if the RT190's and RT240's have been delivered to US customers. I believe I noted one Ginetta G4 owner from Jersey (I think) posted here once. Any others?

I know who the purchaser fo the yellow G4 is. The car is fantastic to look at. Runs hot and has had some oil leaks--the owner thinks the car is great notwithstanding!

I am the proud owner of that Yellow G4. I have only put on 100 miles on it. The G4 came in January with the cold of a Chicago winter. I tried to start it after a few weeks--couldn't. Had the mechanic take a look at it because it had left coolant on the floor and was leaking oil. Replaced the thermostat, changed the plugs (2 different types) and an engine gasket. Result? The car runs great, handles great, looks awesome and has all the right sounds (why can't other manufacturers get sounds liek that?).
The leather interior smells awesome (why can't other manufacturers get a smell like that?).
The car rides firm, but I expected that. It is everything I would have hoped for
The guys at www.goginetta.com were very fair to deal with as well.

What kind of motor is in your jpf? Is it EFI? Drysump? Does it have a crackle and pop effect when lifting off the throttle?

It's ashame no US car mags (that I know of) have tested the G4.

2.0Zetec with EFI. It sounds absolutely great and just spits up a bit of coolant when in traffic.

There is a magazine called European Car that drove a 1.8 Zetec with EFI in a road test.

The review was very accurate--though I am doing fine without a dead pedal!

Is your G4 faster than a Carrera or Corvette?

It is faster than a Corvette/Carrera in terms of 0-60, handling, etc. Judging by the revs, I don't think its top end would match the Corvette/Carrera--but how often does anyone get to drive over 170 mph?
I'd be curious to match the G4 against the Caterham and Elise--I wonder if Petrolted can arrange such an event?

Hey, how is the build quality? Does it match up to Graham Bells assessment of the G4--well screwed together?

Bet the build quality is good--they have had enough time to perfect the formula...
Anyone ordered the NOBLE yet?
