Pole Barn you pour after and helps tie the poles in etc.... but yes have to remove some soil yet before gravel, vapour barrier,
insulation Rebar and hydronic pipes..... then concrete. Lots of fun still to be had.

So for those of you that are not on my FB page, the shop has walls and a sealed roof. Also I'm putting up 210 Solar Evacuated Tubes to help heat the shop for free in the winter, the frames are now going up while I'm waiting for the Concrete pour Day....

The Floor is all prepped, insulation is down, Reinforcing bar and eleven 300 FT loops of Pex tubing all in waiting for Next Tuesday for the 6 trucks on Concrete and a line pump to arrive..... So big push to get it all ready for Car stuff to restart this winter..... wont be long now (he tells himself) wink

Hi Clive
How do you find those pipes again when you want to bolt down a mill of two post lift?

"My stuff".
It's that epic thread.
And the post is from the OP! Maybe it's an update and not just some gump bumping it to the top with "any update OP?" like 7/8ths of the other epic threads.
..And it's pictures of a floor.

I'm sad now, I really want to see how the GTR ends up!

(not a criticism OP, Homes Gardens and DIY threads are up there with car build threads for being cool)...

Well i hope so because I'm never building another shop again.... It's time away from building cars that's hurt the most this time... 3800 sqft of space should be enough.... cloud9

Second Floor Mez almost done now. Just painting and some hand rails.... Will be doing any F/G work up there as I don't mind the mess so much.... Pics to follow... Half the shop now has a second floor for storage and work space and maybe a Pool table.. Machines got moved in out the cold now so its feeling more like a shop now... cant wait for the snow this year, Ill be warm and dry and thanks to 30 solar panels almost electrically self sufficient.... Been a big year getting the major projects sorted...
