Anybody know the kpi angle for Sierra front uprights/hub carriers?

No, sorry, but if you ring a wheel/tyre dealer who has 'decent' tracking equipment, they should be able to tell you.......

Kingpins? That's a bit 1930s beam axle isn't it?

Assume you're after the camber setting, but if it's for your G12 rather than a Sierra you'd be best to contact Dare as it'll probably be different.

By the way, building a G12 will make you a hero to some people on Pistonheads as it has a lot of fans, as you can see from some of the postings on the G4 thread in the Kit Cars section. Good luck with it.

according to a drawing i downloaded for auto cad from a locost site it is 7 degrees, but im not sure how accurate it is.

King Pin Inclination = King Pin Inclination, it is NOT Castor or Camber it is KPI!!

It is the angle from the top swivel point to lower swivel point, viewed from the front.

I agree it is nothing to do with the Camber Angles or Beam Axles though.

D'oh. Good job Matt (does proper engineering for Dura) and Jonathan (inveterate basher of rusty metal) did the suspension design on our 7, rather than me (ponces around taking photographs of crashed cars then writing papers/lecturing about them). You're correct of course Matt, KPI measured from the same place as Castor (centre top ball joint to centre bottom ball joint) but is viewed from the front rather than the side (as with castor)
