Westfield Experience

Just had a mail drop from Westfield inviting me for a "Westfield Experience".
Rang up and booked a tour in Aug.

Who's done one of these before? Is it any good and worth doing, just as a enthusiast (cant afford one yet!).

The bloke said it was just a factory tour, what are the chances of being taken out in one?

I went down for one a couple of weekends ago. I really wanted to compare a V8 and a bike engined car, but they didn't have either demonstator available. I took out the Zetec car (130bhp) - they just get you to sign a form and then give you the keys, a map, and tell you to be back in half an hour. I was also taken out for a ride in a Euro V8 which was pretty nice, but it was a customer's car, so they wouldn't let me drive.
The factory tour is pretty interesting, but at the end of the day it's a sales exercise first and foremost. A friendly sales exercise, but ultimately they want you to sign your name at the end of the day.

Well, I'm not looking to buy for at least a few months, maybe upto 6 months so they wont get far trying to sell me anything
Factory tour and a quick blast sounds good though

Only problem is, once they have your name and number they keep phoning you every couple of months!

Well, they keep sending me emails but they have not tried phoning me...........yet!
