... what the hell are we going to do if we can't get [factual unbiased reports] from either [magazine]?

My original answer to this question was:-
kitcarman said:
There’s a clear suggestion that you accuse both magazines of bias.

I only know what the owner has told me and what I have seen…. And some of what you’ve suggested on this forum is misleading.

I think I've truthfully conveyed the situation... (in the magazine at the least)

But I accept that I've been bitter in both places.

Will this satisfy Ultimandy and gtrclive?

Can we move on?

They also wanted measurements, but... it's (a) dark (b) getting a bit parky (c) time for my Indian Curry to arrive. Tomorrow, maybe.

And if you pop that dirty great cover of the middle, it looks even smaller. (I was nosey!)

Beeing the proud owner of both said V8s (bmw & chevy), i would say they are similar size.
In fact i tried a pair of chevy rocker covers on a rover v8 im rebuilding, and they were within a few MM of each other. So, there all similar size. (v8's on the brain!)

Not sure what this has got to do with the thread, but i was tiring of the it[the thread] anyway.

I will by KK, in a few months when the silly ads have gone.

Thanks ultimandy,
I didn’t think that I’d changed the meaning of what you said, but I’ve noted your disapproval and will, if I quote you again, stick rigorously to your text. Sorry!

I’m glad that we’ve agreed to disagree and hope that time will sort out the issue.

This whole thread started as a result of an e-mail that aprisa sent to me about a month ago. I’ve pulled out a sentence from that letter:-
aprisa said:
. . . I will not be renewing as will be the case with many hundreds more who have been discussing the matter on numerous web forums.

I’ve a question for aprisa. Can you please put me onto one of the other forums on which this matter is also being discussed? Thanks in advance. I’ve found totalkitcar but, by its own admission, it’s not exactly heaving with life.
Clearly, if I am really loosing readers I’d like a chance to explain myself as I have here.
Incidentally, on this point, Kit Car magazine sales are actually on the increase although I don’t doubt that some individuals have been put off.

Aprisa, you’re a dark horse!

You’ve not contributed to these contentious threads recently, but I’ve just been to my office and what did I find?

Your subscription application!

Thanks! Seems that you also subscribe to the school of thought that teaches that “actions speak louder than words

It seems I’d do well to book a sub to that school of thought myself.

Thanks again!

Den.

BTW The freebie I sent was well worth the postage stamp cost.

Den, you must have me wrong my daughter's the one with the dark Horse

Pretty much said all I had to say before (mainly in deleted thread) and agree with most of what my lerned friends have added in this and other posts.

I respect the way you have listened to the thoughts of others and trust that what you heve decided will be put into practice over the coming months, hence my trust in renewing my subscription.

Also I haven't been in the mood for an arguement lately as I am finally making good progress on my Kit and vent my frustration in the Garage.

Look forward to animated discissions in the future.

Cheers Nick
