1. Ultima GTR just nearing completion, hopefully to SVA later this month. Engine arrived this week

2. Westfield Megablade - really great fun, absolutely mental on the road, great as a track car which it was originally built for (the Evo munches tyres, brakes etc. and does 7mpg on track )

Still got this one, plan on using it for more sprints and hillclimbs.
3. Not even allowed to think about it at the moment
4. Another Ultima maybe.

[quote=peetbee]Having read the other topics I thought it wouldbe interesting to find out what kit cars are owned by PH members. I then thought of the following questions:

1) Current Kit - what do you own now?
2) Previous Kits - what have you owned & would you buy another?
3) Next Kit - what are you considering?
4) Dream kit - what you would buy if money were no object?

Tiger Supersix (2 litre pinto)

Westfield se (2 litre pinto)

None, quite happy at the moment.

Can't choose between Gardner Douglas Cobra rep, with full leather interior and 500hp 7 litre Chevvy V8...OR Caterham R500, but I think on balance the GD would be a more "sensible" choice.......

1) Sylva Fury 2 litre XE with Nitrous

2) Sylva Leader 1700 super sprint x-flow. Great handling, better than my Fury. But ugly.

3) Sylva Striker with Chevy LS1, 15 inch wide rear tyres, and lots of Nitrous

4) McLaren M8 Replica with 602 Chevy Big Block, a blower and even more Nitrous.

Interesting lists so far. The Ultima seems to feature quite highly in both the dream cars and the currently owned. Lots of admiration for those of you who are building the Ultima as your first car

Plenty of seven inspired cars and cobras feature on the lists too. Keep 'em coming

Yes, yes, it'll be on the road soon. By the way my garage will have been occupied by Dutton components for 12 months in two days time

Now that gives me an idea for a new topic, soon push those pesky magazine topics off the first page

4) Probably still a T2 or GTM. I'm not much into exotica, prefer small nippy cars or some kind of sleeper.

1. Ultima GTR (350 SB Chev) current car

2. Rotrax (2 litre pinto) GD427 (302 SB Ford)
The GD was rather nice and may still be kicking around - I sold to Hallmark Cars 4 or 5 years ago, was Q730DSA anyone got it? Hopefully the Rotrax will have been left in a layby and set on fire a long time ago.

3. Something small with a bike engine (maybe one of these new fangled V8s made of 2 Hyabusas in a westerham thing?)

4. Trying to work out what kit can be dafter than an Ultima in terms of cost, performance and pose value

Hi Pete, long time no see! Haven't you finished that S£ yet!? I've sold the black S3 now to concentrate on the business, but the lack of club motor sport is beginning to take effect, so I recently purchased a Serria Cosworth , anyway back to the matter in hand.

Current Kit: None
Last kit: Dutton Phaeton S3 2 ltr pinto 5 speed
Next kit: I quite fancy a Jaguar V12 based Monza
Dream Kit: Mirage Countach

Home to see you soon, Simon.
