I'm seriously contemplating building a Fury, but I haven't seen too many about... can anyone tell me a bit more about them as there only seems to be a very limited amount of information on the web...

Cheers.

There's lots of information on Mark Fisher's cars on the web.

Brilliant little car - always wanted one, but nowhere to put it.
I saw them competing last year in 750MC events.

Roy, thanks for pointing me in the right direction... but all these sites have a few pretty pictures, say the handling is fantastic (which is subjective) and don't give much else away...

I think it might have to be a trip down to see Mr Fisher..

I have a part built Fury in the classified - these are fantastic little cars - much better (IMO) than the seven type cars as there's little buffeting at motorway speeds and the aero-dynamics are much better than the brick-like seven. The car was originally the Sylva Fury designed by Jeremy Philips - his cars are mainly designed for racing but are very usable on the road. A bike engined Fury will do the 1/4 mile in under 13 secs with better handling than most sevens - the track results speak for themselves.
Also have a look at the Specialist Sportscar Stylus - another Sylva Design.A bit bigger than the Fury and prettier - there's some roadtests on the site - the chassis/suspension is very similar to the Fury so the same comments will apply - I believe that the Stylus rides a bit better but it's slightly heavier.
