Ex-Biker,
My postal copy arrived this morning.
It should be in all shops (even in Cornwall) today.

Den.

Not this morning.

Or today . . . . .

Can you get your printers to send copies to Cornwall a week before anywhere else?

This was spotted ages ago when we did feedback for Kit Car Mag.

Yes Den was a little red faced but it's old news!

I wonder how long it will take Cobra Club to realise it has happened 3 months running and couldn't be changed.

Regarding other posts on that thread - WK? featuring Pilgrim. Pilgrim has nothing to do with Den anymore, he sold it!

Talking about Den, has he lost the link to PH?

I read through some of the Cobra Club stuff today, and they do appear a little behind the times on some issues.... I think that Robert (The Cobra Club Webmaster I think) frequents this forum.....

They also have their own "troll" issues on the Cobra Club forum, which make very entertaining reading.....

Watch out for a bloke called Andy!

Very interesting

I didn't know about it as don't bother with either magazine. Interesting that it happened 3 months running and couldn't be changed??? I don't believe it. I've placed business adverts which have been wrong and had them changed by the next print run.

An interesting point that it wasn't pointed out on Cobra Club before. I have 2 conclusion.

1. We are all so de-sensatised and uninterested that we couldn't give a f**k on the whole issue.

2. For any manufacturers they should note that kit car owners/admirers on a kit car forum didn't notice a huge page (with mistake) in a kit car magazine? Guess you should place your advertising elsewhere as its obviously whizzing by its intended audience. May I suggest on Pistonheads???

I have another theory:

By the time you get to that page, your so fed up with the bitchin' (or constructive comments/news, depending on which side of the fence you sit) that you just ignore it anyway.

I think that's enough now, so I think it's best we don't go there.

BTW do any Cobra people find that site hard to follow?
It might just be me.

Our illustrious Leader, Rob (snaketorque), would probably kill me if I were to comment on that one.

Actually it is fine but admittedly PH is a bit easier and has a more open ended edit facility which I like as you only get about 1 minute with CC.

Apart from that most of us idiots manage to navigate around it ok.

Skid,
Surely your enthusiasm to join the fray and (belatedly) point out my failings is inconsistent with your claimed disinterest.

You’re the first to tell me to shut up on matters at the heart of my livelihood when on the other hand you post material that more or less forces my response.

My question is this. Do you want this issue debated fairly? Or do you just want this forum to exist for your one-way, undefended p155 taking?

It has been quiet without you.

... I don't think I'm forcing you to do anything?

I just thought it was a funny post on another forum. I don't want it debated at all. Sorry for wanting to share the joke! Jesus I thought laughing at someones f~~k up was part of our Nations unique humour!?!?Nevermind.

Anyway...
It does raise the interesting point and call into question the effectiveness of any KC mag for maunfacturers if their target audience on one forum doesn't notice a whole page cock up for 3 months.

If I was spending money on an advert I would want to know an exact return on sales. Personally I have pointed more of my businesses money away from advertising to promotions for a more effective result.

Perhaps KC manufacturers should go this way. Over the next 5 years I wouldn't be suprised to see the mags diverging from journals to shows and websites. Got to be better than the same old adverts surely?

Anyway just my thoughts.
