Thank you! Another baby step closer. GAjon said:
Looking good Bernard, that blue looks very similar to the blue we are going to use on our Tuscan Challenge car build.
The winged and baffled sump pan I made in the finished colour.
Unfortunately now redundant due to purchase of a dry sump kit.
Thanks. It's Ford blue. The winged and baffled sump pan I made in the finished colour.

Nice! Are you going to be able to drop the engine, relative to the chassis?
The way this engine fits, the bottom of the dry sump pan is even with the bottom of the frame tubes. That necessitated the 7.25" triple clutch, because the previous bellhousing hung below that line by roughly 2".

No, the engine was as far back and low as it could go anyway, the dry sump doesn’t allow us to gain anymore.
Just in the garage now, trying to figure out some exhaust mounting brackets to weld to the chassis.
Like you said “baby steps”.
Are you posting your progress anywhere? I would love to see what you're doing with it. Just in the garage now, trying to figure out some exhaust mounting brackets to weld to the chassis.

I was scrambling last week, because the engine wasn't painted and I have to install the water pump and probably don't have the hardware handy. Same for my oil filter block off plate. The valve covers need hardware, and the clutch wasn't fitted. That last part turned out to be a good thing, because we probably wouldn't have figured out that the splines were completely different, until we were trying to mate the engine to the transmission, at the earliest. The version that the clutches came with has many, tiny splines on a large diameter input shaft, whereas my transmission has a standard Ford 1 1/16" x 10 splines. The engine machinist said "we'll make it work."
Then, last night, I found out that the starter location is almost certainly not going to work, the bellhousing length is different, which will require an adapter plate or a sandwich plate, the clutch lever/fork pivot is on the other side of the transmission input shaft, and I may have to scrap my hydraulic clutch slave in favor of an internal, hydraulic throw out bearing.
Meanwhile, the guys at the shop where it's stalled have been extremely generous, in not asking me to store the car elsewhere, until I sort things out.
Editing this post to pull back on a little bit of my stty attitude.
