3000m converting to Hydraulic Clutch

Thanks for the prompt reply - the drawings are really useful. Does the input shaft need any attention length wise? (Again - apologies if I'm being thick!!).
Plus - did you modify the gear lever housing yourself to bring it the 30mm forward that's required?
I haven’t finished it yet due to the lockdown but the input shaft is bang on correct - I think it’s a long input shaft box. Haven’t modded the gear lever but 30mm can be done (and will be) but it’s about the limit of shortening. Plus - did you modify the gear lever housing yourself to bring it the 30mm forward that's required?

What slowed me up was the exhaust runs VERY close to the old type 5 so I mocked up a spare T5 alongside the T9 and in my case it will JUST work!
As I’ve said this is the only realistic way to do it, and it’s not that difficult and not expensive either.
Hi
Thread ressurection
I am considering this upgrade to my 1982 TVR Tasmin 280i fitted now with a Type 9 5 speed...already sheard the metal tube off that holds the nylon bush to pedal and finally snapped the cable after the tube was remade and modified slightly to make sure it pivots...have a new cable fitted but the hydraulic conversion seems to be a good option and not too expensive if knowing what master & slave to use...Landrover classic?...i have a possible donation of a TVR Wedge 350i pedal box that already has the bolt pattern for the master, which iirc was also landrover so it only leaves the plate that goes onto the rear of the bellhousing...sooo...does anyone have any dimensions of this plate, ideally where the actuator position goes in relation to the clutch fork please...
Many thanks.
Mark

You’ could use a hydraulic bellhousing with its fork as it would avoid the fork/reverse slave situation.Thread ressurection
