No Ted posted the Holden V8 car aka the white elephant
The first of J Morgans pictures was the white elephant and the other was the FHC Tasmin Turbo.
The Talking TVR website is Wrong - their Tasmin Turbo is the Holden V8. As in all the TVR world confusion reigns.

You could always ask - but the last person I knew who did got a negative reply.
In the Wheeler era, TVR have kept hold of prototypes for one reason or another, and probably product/public liability comes into the equation as well. Also they are in the market of producing wider appeal sportscars and probably don't want to be associated with members of public with wild one offs. The original Tuscan Racers came with a contract that committed the owner to so many races (or stump up more cash), they didn't want them turning into road cars. A few have now.

Why doesn't TVR offer the Cosworth 'S' for sale if it's just sitting around at the factory?
Jas.
The reason is because it is not sitting around at the factory and has not been there for at least 6 years that I know of, although the white elephant, Speed 12 race car & Zante are.

wery last s4 is still at the factory , not moved for over a year ..... wot a waste .....
Are you sure? This was on the road as a company car in 1995 and was sold a couple of years ago. Yes they did mislay it for a year or so and were saving it for a museum that never happened. Or is this another one they have found.

It was never actually sold, and yes it is just sitting in the car park not having moved for over a year now.
The last S4 that is at the factory is Mrs Wheeler's old runabout. Unfortunately the chassis is completely rusted and the car is now uneconomical to repair aparrently - Gaffer's been there and tried that already...
Oh, and that Speed 12 engine that's knocking about that's mine. I'm after a pair or Vortech blowers to bolt on it

I have been in most of them at one time - I was dropped off at school in the Holden car.
The Zante was being resorted by the Chelteham area manager till he became too ill.
I had went down to the house to assess the state it was in as Dad was taking it back to the factory ie what transporter was needed.
It was taken back in Octoberish last year but I don't think any work has been done on it yet.
The last S4 - as Roop said was Peters Misses, that wont even move now, its completly rusted and soaking all the way through, I did try to get it for me but cost too much to put right, then I tried to get Dad old Chim the Malasyian built one but apparently a few customers who it was lent to bashed it so its being repaired and cos its Malaysian, its not type rated so thats a NoNo as well, before that I wanted the white Press Griff (that was Dads aswell) but was sold for more than I could afford.
Do you ever get the feeling your not meant to get one...?
Oh and at home we have the only picture of the 1st TVR ever built. Trevor gave it to Dad years ago and signed it.

Sprintmp
Confused I think, there was a supercharged 2 litre V8S for the Italian market. This was basically a sleeved Rover V8, done to overcome certain Italian Tax Laws. Don't know how many were made maybe only 1 but probably less than 5.
Petz
Will try to look out a photo of protype Taimar, but its really not that exciting
