Just saw a Taimar!

A white Taimar just drove through Epping High Street, anyone on here?

Quite a rare sight.

Don't know about the Taimar but if you go down the road to North Weald Motors they have got what looks like at a quick glance a purple 3000M for £6995.

Unfortunately, it's a 2500M or an M2500 as they describe it.

Price seems a little optimistic and I don't see how you could spend £20000 on an M, even if you bought all new parts including a chassis and bodyshell.

Still, if someone does buy it for that price, there will soon be a nice red 3000S for sale at £15000

Went along to see this 2500M on Sunday, and to be honest it does actually look a nice car despite the purple colour which I don't imagine to be original, and the modern badge on the bonnet.

It seemed to be getting lots of interest from modern TVR drivers and from some locals too.

Went past it yesterday and the sign wasn't still in the window so maybe it's been sold, if so then £6995 seems a lot of money for a 2500M.

i'm only down the road from Epping and use the Taimar alot, so should be seen quite often.

Perhaps i might bump into the Vixen sometime

Yeah, I see you quite often as I have a little shop in the High Street. Looked nice and clean parked outside the Wimpy the other week.

Must get an MoT for the Vixen soon, and get out and about a bit.
