I'm happy to see the classic forum waking up. In the past there was about one message per week and now it's rocketed up to nearly two a day. Keep it up like that. Sorry but I had say that.

It's not a case of us owners of classic TVRs 'waking up', it's just that our old cars are so reliable compared to these new 'technically advanced' Tuscans and Tamoras that we don't have to spend all of our time discussing ECUs and which B&Q sealant is best for curing leaks.

By the way. What exactly is an ECU?

It's used on post '93 cars following each years MOT to increase power and noise.

ECU = Exhaust Catalyst Undoer

That's was the 3000M puzzle and another Integrale. Next week the TR6 will join them, fingers crossed. ECU, wasn't that the reason for the demise of the european economy ?

I've got a 3000 M (just purchased...) and a Rover P5B (in New Zealand). The Rover runs a 5 litre V8 with 5-speed manual etc. I drove it on the road and in hillclimbs etc.
