I am one of its current custodians.
Has anyone on here got any photos of the press car from 1978. It was a white Taimar with a brown model band, matching brown roof, oatmeal interior, and wolf race wheels. It had the factory plate on it at the time, TVR 22. I owned it from 1982 to 1987. I remember it being in various magazines at the time, but I've not been able to find it anywhere. I've now got another similar car in my garage awaiting restoration.

As the then press car surely the White/brown Taimar would of been an R or S registered car. There is one distinctive image from the fold out brochure, that gives it away as a very early Taimar.

There other experts with other opinions, despite there absence from this forum, please don't take my word for anything I say...I just happen to 'think' I know a lot about TVR's. ALL my posts will be deleted at a later date as part of my keeping my PH profile to minimum...peace and goodwill. Adrian@
I know what you're saying Adrian, but the one I had also had a brown roof, and the later steering column (TR7 I think). The one in the fold out brochure has a white roof. The car I have now is white, with just a brown band. Hopefully I'll get to make a start on it this winter.Adrian@

Sorry but, my deleting my posts will stop PH'ers being contacted via MY history (totally unrelated to PH, or the mods on PH) and asked what if any influence my posts had on purchasing things that I comment on, sad really, and I have got better things to do!!

WTF ??!! Don't know what's going off in the back ground that makes you feel you need to delete your posts, will be a real shame to lose all the info.Adrian@
