Quote - I am restoring a 1960 Grantura in New Zealand.
Hi - Im researching TVR Grantura racing - I assume this is a Mk1 can you please say what the chassis number is. Also do you know when it was exported, if it had a UK registration number and name of first owner. I'll check if I have any records.
Please send me an email.
Thanks
Rob

Hi Rob, Thanks for your reply. As newbie I cannot email yet but will in a few days. This is our car which has interesting vents in the bonnet and an Alfin 11" brake at the back for example. Sadly no Coventry engine anymore... It needs a lot of work but all Grantura's are worth it I reckon.
Cheers,
Rhett
Great photo - looks like a Mk3 bonnet the vents are similar to the works cars,
I assume your car chassis number is 7/c/.... Let me know when you can email - I'll also invite you to the Grantura Facebook group there are quite a number of Granturas being restored so there should be some help.

Cool photo's Axel. How do you like the Vixen after the Turbo?

Hi Moto ,Moto
ok the 2500 is more civillised than the fabulus Turbo,
In my Situation it is more pleasing my budget for Historie cars,
but the M Turbo was a very very fine car , more practical for everyday use !
The 2500 Vixen is the more economical car with no Problems of overheating at all !
Both Cars are beauties in every aspect :-)
Regards Axel
