Thanks Jim. Yours is now on the list. It was originally intended for (Vixen) 2500s but 2500Ms are just as interesting and seem to be very hard to find in right hand drive guise. I think I have the Road & Track road test of the 2500M from around 1977. If I remember correctly it beat the Vixen 2500 to 60 by quite a margin. I think they took it beyond the red line in 2nd gear! If I ever find the time, I may be able to scan it and email you a copy if you don't already have it. Any chance of posting some pics? Can you add my 2500M to the list.

A few more have surfaced in the last year (or so), time for a long overdue update.
This very nice original looking one, OWC 4K, sold in the early part of 2016.
Next, one of the Club members contacted me about this one.
At some point, this one had a female owener in Devon, who intended to hill climb it. It was more recently sold, without its engine. The current owner's plans for the car are unknown.
One of the previous owners had another 2500, a yellow 'K' reg car, which he fitted a Daimler 2.5 to. This was around 30 years ago. Does this ring a bell with anyone?
Finally, this one is currently in Germany.
I've tried contacting the owner, requesting some history but so far have not received received a reply. Does anyone recognise the car?
Many thanks to Tony and Neale for all their help.

The blue one that was for sale in Germany has recently come back to the UK..

It was previously registered in Germany as KB HR 990 .
Also I've just heard of a yellow one, reg number NTJ 400K and have been reliably informed that it appears on p168 of Peter Filby's Success Against The Odds in the background. I can't take a look though as I don't have a copy of the book

Time for a few updates:
The colour of FRE 878K was previously unknown. It is now known to have been blue.
This Netherlands based racer is now know to have been registered in the UK as HYC 749K. Details still exist on the DVLA site.
Finally, a 'new' one has appeared. The reg is RTW 790K. This is listed on the DVLA site as orange and is taxed and MOT'd. Does anyone know of the car or have any further details or photos please?
With thanks to whoever took the photo and to Marshall.

Hi Chris, not sure if my old car is on your radar.I bought the car off Simon Pilkinton in the early 80,s it was in the factory for repairs ( see my recent post on International Grantura Face Book page) deemed a uneconomical repair. It turned out a show stopper, complete with a full tan Taimar interior.Registation MHG 194P then VTL 11 chassis no 3371TM.I think it was originally Metallic Silver then Bronze and after my restoration Ford Aubergine.I came across the car on Pistonheads in a very sad state (that was probably 2010 to 2013 ) a garage in Scotland had it up for grabs.I believe Rene Christensen from France took on the restoration.I have been in touch with him but unfortunately have lost his contact details

Hi Baz,Regards Baz
Thanks for the details. I'd originally intended to make a list of the right hand drive Vixen bodied 2500s. Some 2500M details have been posted though. There weren't many of these made and they are still of interest to me. If the original search ever comes to an end, perhaps I'll start on the Ms.
Sorry for any confusion.
Chris
Photos of this car were found somewhere on the web several years ago. The car remained unidentified for quite a while though.
The photos below seem to be of the same car.
The dash is quite distinctive and looks identical in both sets of photos. Other details also match. For now, I'll assume the photos are of the same car, unless anyone knows differently.

The white race/sprint prepared 2500 GME 86J has been know of for a while thanks to Roy C. I've just found a link to quite a detailed article on the car, which may be of interest.

A former 2500 owner has recently enquired about his old car via Peter, the TVRCC RO of Tees Valley. Ralph Pickles owned ADN 429J from 1972 to 1974.
Ralph was the second owner and bought the car from Northern Sportscars of Scorton (near Darlington) who were TVR dealers at the time but have not been around since the 80s. They were selling the car on behalf of the first owner who was a butcher from York.
This is the car in its original colour circa 1973.
The last I'd heard, the car was for sale with a dealer in Hertfordshire in 2013.
Here are some pics taken from the ad.
Peter searched the DVLA site and found the car has recently been taxed. It is now cream in colour and is registered as a 5 litre.
If anyone knows of the car, it would be great to get some more details.
Many thanks to Peter and Ralph for the info and photo.

I owned MWE 71K from around 1976 to 1979 it was metallic blue then , it had a Triumph 2500 engine with twin carbs and an overdrive gearbox which worked on 2nd 3rd and 4th gear. Acceleration was incredible for the period 0-60 in 6.5 s.
Hi Mr Steel,Thanks for posting and welcome to the forum. It's always great to get some more details on these cars. This one's had a few colour changes over the years. It was originally Renault Yellow, then, not necessarily in order, metallic blue, black and red. It must have had some serious mods to have achieved those acceleration figures! Do you remember what was done? Also, do you have any photos you'd be willing to share please?
