I have been in worse races but that was unusual for the CSCC. The first bend at Brands is where it all happens - down hill and off camber I love it.
The Alfa was the near miss!!!!! Also, oil should have been dealt with. So, not happy with the result.
Still got all my paint. Pete
I was told by an official that they were appalled by the driving standards. The SC was out in just about every race and a number were red flagged. Not a good advert for CSCC.The Alfa was the near miss!!!!! Also, oil should have been dealt with. So, not happy with the result.

Good to see my mate Adam's old FISC Midget still goes quite well, albeit now on Yokos. I am sure he must have beaten me somewhere but I don't remember it. He and the mini at 21.00 is typical only we were usually 4 abreast. I suspect he will be the man to beat, despite the cock up over time penalties at Silverstone which cost him the win there.
Are you on A048s Pete?
Was at Spa on the weekend of 26/27/28/ June lots of TVR’s Racing. First time there and met loads of new Tvr fans.
Here is the vid race one. Race two to follow.

Next outing is the Guards Trophy at the Silverstone Classic. Will spend most of the race looking in rear view mirror as the Chevrons hurtle past! Still it will be great fun and really looking forward to it. Quite a few Griffs in the same race.
If you're there pop by the garage and say hello.
Cheers

A weekend at Assen in the Marcos with over 100.000 spectators. Race 1 ended after being hit by a 289 Mustang after 8.5 secs, so here is the first few laps of race 2.

Hi Guys
I've been busy with racing the last months. And is currently #1 in the modified sub 6kg danish hillclimb championship. But have had a couple of not so nice events.
We had a track sprint on a local race track, #2 in first heat 0.3 sec down. Pushed it a bit in next heat and ended like this
Next race was allso a track sprint, ended after 1/2 foot with a broken half shaft. Back to construction and made a set of 38mm shafts (up from 32mm)
Last weekend was a double event. Was #2 overall after the first 2 heats, but blew it in heat3 with a huge save in a spin, and went to #4 0.5 sec after #2
Sunday was our only "real" hillclimb, 0.8 mile hill with 2 serpentine bends, a narrow tunnel and an oily track after an old manta400 blew 12 liter of engine oil on the track. Gave a dissapointing #10
And a small clip from the event, I'm paasing at 0.30

Monday did I have a full day track session with a 20 times LeMans driver, John Nielsen, who won last time Jaguar was on top. He had a number of laps in the brow racer, and gave me a list of things to change on my setup. Furter did I have long practise session with a young (but talented) driver in the top saloon class in denmark, improving lines, braking points and corner exits quite a bit. Very learning day, but hard on tyres :-) And as a bonus did the old lady beat everything on the track, 911's, RS6, M4, M5, Tesla and so on. Best point was seeing a Panemera 4S taking the green lane with smoke from the front brakes, after it tried to keep up with the oldtimer :-)

Off to Oulton Park for the Gold Cup meeting this weekend then Donington weekend after. Hoping for something less like offshore powerboat racing than the Silverstone Classic although forecast doesn't look great. Plenty of TVRs (Griffiths apart from me) in the Guards GT race at Oulton if anyone is planning to come. Qualifying Saturday, race Sunday.
Went to a local rally sprint in the city center of Silkeborg today. Managed a class win in the sub 6 kg/hp open class, and a 3'th overall after 2 rally drivers (Opel kadett GT and a 911 RSR)
So very pleased :-) and the brown blackpool rocked did smoke up the tires a couple of times, crowdpleasing style (but not improving laptimes)
