I am in the process of purchasing a TVR3000M 1977 and have gota competative quote with RH specialist Cars, But in order to have adreed value added to the policy I need a valuation done on the tvr.

I have contacted the TVRCC and it seems that they don't offer this service which I feel is quite Bizarre.

I have contacted car inspections companys via there website and they seem to want £200+ for valuing the car, which is more that the insurance quote.

Does anybody know where I can get a valuation done via the post/web that allows you to sent photos etc.

Many Thanks

Paul

I use Footman James for an agreed value policy for my 3000S & Vixen and they allow you to value the car yourself + 2 photographs. Some other companies may do the same.

Classicline do it by photographs with their policy for an extra £15 for any vehicles under £20k, so you just fill the form in yourself and send the photos off... job done.

Cheers,
Matt.

Or try David Geralds, Adrian Vien or Steve Reid for a valuation.

A-on insurance gave me my best quote and an agreed valuation based on my description and photos.

With any luck the club should be doing valuationa again soon, see the TVRCC website (suggestions to the committee forum) for a full answer.

PS USE A REAL FILM CAMERA NOT A DIGITAL FOR ANY PICTURES TO BASE A VALUATION ON.
