hopefully (!). Also have a nice new set of wheels and some tyres which might enable cornering of sorts (previous were very aged 155/80s).
I am pleased to say I resisted the temptation to buy a complete original BRM bottom end (crank/rods/cosworth pistons, with shells etc), as that would have meant taking everything to bits and not having the money to put it back together again; or, more correctly, having someone else put it back together again, as my bore-enlargement skills are a little rusty (). May yet get the quad bike carb conversion done, but going to concentrate on making the driving experience more pleasant first, ie new shocks with adjustable platforms to compensate for the much smaller wheels. After a bit of attention, the engine's much better, but may still have a loose-ish valve seat, I'll see how it goes over the next few weeks (once this snow clears), but at least a valve seat isn't a(nother) rebore.

Hiya Drifting & others..
Sad to say that my ownership of the 3000M is coming to an end next week , as I have had to sell all the disposable assets to buy into a Comapny Share Scheme.
Brilliant experience , totally reliable , and would recommend TVRs to anybody considering the classic car route . Even impressed the gaffer who is a biker and speed fanatic ( but very safety minded ).
Saying that , I visit this site EVERY lunchtime , and will continue to do so . Plan is to get back into a TVR about Summer 2006 , so being a typical Scot will be looking for a bargain .
I fancy something with a V8 block in the front of it to make it that wee bit more intresting....mmm
