Lost as in snapped the adjuster off internally? Very easy to do especially if the adjuster has got corroded, they are quite fragile. One of mine did that when I was bleeding them. (Which SPAX say you don't need to do, but in practice is essential with Gas SPAX.) Apparently you can replace the adjuster without totally stripping the shock, but I haven't bothered. Did I tell you about the time the top came off the rod and the whole front corner collapsed? A couple of minutes earlier and I'd have been off the road at xxx miles an hour. Not impressed. And how about the set of dampers that simply stopped damping periodically? In the end I gave up after getting three sets of replacements for various faults, I just replaced the whole lot with some decent dampers that actually worked. Never again.
