Vixen exhaust manifold
Discussion
Hello.
So - has anyone reached a resolution whether the Ashley 4-2-1 can be crammed in there on a Vixen S2?
Understood Ashley has a less than superlative reputation for fit and quality but you get what you pay for.
The alternative is a custom made header for around $800-$1000.
Over here in San Francisco we have an absolute dearth of craftsmen/fabricators.
Good ones exist but they are far and few between and they're backed up with work for months and charge accordingly.
I'd take a shot at it myself - but bending with sand and torch - looks like a long learning curve.
Cheers!

The Ashley 4-2-1 manifold for a mk2 escort does not fit without modification. It will not “cram in”. The primary pipes and their collectors will fit but it needs to be cut off after that and the secondary pipes cut and re-welded to get them to snake their way into the transmission tunnel.
