Is this correct? Seems odd as the photos show a V8 but the spec is Rover. Shame about the recent LHD swap and rear lights, and removal of the period body mods

It says they're just rocker covers that say Cobra powered by ford so the pics kind of match the car. Lots look to have changed since the historic pics inc registration.

Nice car but not sure about the price as a lot of the work that's been done seems to have undone it's history!

I remember seeing Paul Tankard's Tuscan at Prescott in about 1982, I'm not sure how much is the same car as it had a Ford V8 and something like a Lola backend. The bodywork was also a lightweight modsports 'style'. However, I guess it could be a 'triggers broom'

Maybe a nice & usable car but heavily advertising it on it's racing history seems strange when there's virtually nothing left of it.

Chassis number suggests that it started life as a V6.

Also say sits converted to a Mike Bigland Chassis. Isn't that M series? Rear lower suspension doesn't look like a standard car, more like an M

My Finnish is not good but registration document does indicate it currently has a 4.7 fitted.
Even so, I think you would need to see engine spec.
Maybe 10/10 for provenance and 2/10 for originality but I would have it my garage.

I, for one, mourn the phase of the car in the picture above. I wonder what went through PT's head, when he decided to undo all of the development work, that he and many others lavished, on this car.

Note DVLA have it listed as Exported and with a 2999cc engine. That may prove a little problematic if returned the UK with the current 4.7 in the light of DVLAs current thinking on originality.

Sorry a little bit off topic but is that a TriDent (not a real TVR Trident) hanging next to the Tuscan? Where was that photo taken please?

Photo is taken in Holland, city Gouda called Blackpool aan de Rijn.

Garage is owned by Chairman of TVR Club Holland.

Hopes he doesn't mind me telling this.
