In fact here it is!!!!!!
Holy crap! Even in drawing form, does it look as though it’s made of tinfoil! On the plus side, that looks super simple to fabricate.

Back now from my venture to the frozen north....

There were two types of accelerator pedal for the 'M'; an early type and a later type. The later type is the same (or very similar) to the TR6/Rimmers one and the earlier one is as the picture Matt has posted.

I have the later type, sorry Matt.

Out of interest, does anyone know where the early type came from?

The early floor mount pedals are from the Triumph Herald / Vitesse. But only the bracket (part No. 24 in the TVR parts diagram) are available the pedal part (17a) you will have to get used from a Triumph breaker.

Ha! If only I had read Lindon_Dodd's post on Friday...
I spent all weekend digging the internet to discover that the pedal assembly does indeed come from the Triumph Herald Vitesse...
..and that there are no pedals available new. The rest of the assembly is however available i.e. mounting bracket, spring, pin, rubber etc.
There are a couple I have found 2nd hand though thankfully! :-)
Thank you all for your inputs!!!
All very much appreciated indeed.

Matt,

I do have the original throttle pedal from my 3000M, converted my car to a hanging pedal, the coil spring is broken and one of the pivoting points is a bit worn out and it is rusty but very usable.
If interested I can email you some photos, I am located in Canada but one of my workers is coming to the UK in two weeks time, I never going to use it anymore so it can be your's for free, let me know.

Hi Bert.
That would be great, thank you very much.
Some pictures would be good, but it sounds better than my modified one already.
I can buy spare bits for the mechanism, coil spring, pin etc.
