Was having trouble with the clutch at low speeds in traffic - quite some 'snatch' as the clutch bit - difficult to start moving smoothly. Clutch etc replaced etc and things improved considerably, but now find that when the engine is hot, the clutch again becomes more difficult to use in traffic.
No problem getting into or changing gear though. Previously replaced clutch cable and greased it up.

Seems such a simple arrangement, I'm not sure what else to check ? Could it be the pedal box alignment ?

You use the word snatch knowing Vixpy is around?

Was going to mention this post:

But I then saw that you had posted on that one also, think you will find that it's a case of "they all do that sir"
Have always found it is not a problem for changing gear, but can be a pain in traffic with the clutch being heavy and on or off.

Re- check the clutch cable ....these are made with a plastic internal liner and if the outer gets heat damaged then the inner will be damaged too and grip the cable and cause poor releasing of the clutch arm...as described....we have a lever bracket that holds the cable to the sump that stops the cable from touching the exhaust.
