For the Tuscan i wonder what remains of the original Car. It seems a bit like "Trigger's Broom".

There's the first V8 S (a 4.3 litre!) at CCA on 1st Dec:

I reckon it'll exceed the guide, unless close-up (as is often the case), the paintwork is poor. So many cars look great in a photo....

I think if it is nice with good chassis it will do just short of 19k smile

That seems a bit high to me, unless the fact it's the first one really counts. I saw a nice V8S at Brightwells in summer 2017 reach exactly £10k:

You do sometimes get bidding fever but a good Griff 500 would be unlikely to reach £19k at an auction. A low mileage (9k) 1996 JDM 4.2 Cerbera at the last one went for less than that. I know, because I got outbid on it!

https://www.classiccarauctions.co.uk/1997-tvr-cerb...

As I said before about appearances in photos, the paintwork on it was poor. Loads of cracks in the scuttle panel, and splodges of poor touch up paint and some lacquer lift on both doors and the roof. Dried resin or glue on the clock face. It was listed and relisted twice on fleabay for £25k by the dealer who outbid me but I don't know if it sold.

Its a right mess. Apparently a previous owner wanted the round rear lights, LHD and the other mods so there was considerable work in changing....

I’ll never get why people deal cars like this through auctions. It narrows the market to those who can travel and have a day spare, and they can’t ask the all important questions or test drive.

Exactly. I reckon a lot of classic cars at auctions have issues. Or impatient sellers. Especially at 'static' ones where you can't even get to hear the engine run.
I'm amazed how often a car will go for more money at an auction than an equivalent one with a warranty elsewhere!

Vixen not sold. Sold after for £14,500
Tuscan not sold. Sold after for £20,500

I bet the Finnish chap wished he had restored the Tuscan to its former good looks:
