Sorry guys, it is a little out of date.... Moved house a little while back and need to get a full weekend to get the new garage sorted, but will do an update asap.

Cheers,

Tony

Hi Corin,

Good to hear that you have bought a classic...

The rear window seal I got from Tom & Jerrys (David Geralds), the right stuff but not cheap. Is the T5 belhousing for a Essex V6, if so Swaymar made some a few years ago, you need to look for a secondhand one as they were not cheap (circa £400 new). LSD conversion is the LSD version of the sailsbury diff fitted to later cars. Alloys take your pick, a mate got some minilite style wheels recently in 16" which he plans to fit modern tyres too.

Cheers

The main difficulty in finding wheels is the close to zero offset - modern cars are close to 50mm +/- 20mm.
Try to find: PCD 4.5" or 114.3mm ET minus 7/16" or 11.1mm for a 7.5" rim width.
Tyres: Front - 215/55/16 Rear - 225/55/16

Foot notes: 1/. standard rims are 6", ET minus 3/32" (2.4mm) with 185R14 tyres.
2/. 7" rim width would require an ET of minus 5/16" or 7.9mm
3/. You can mess about with tyre sizes all day. I would say the 215/55/16 front not the 205/55/16. Any of the three tyre sizes so
far will fit onto either of the two rim widths. The 205 is standard on a 7" rim. 235/50/16 is a possibility for the 7.5" rim.
4/. The Cerb also uses the 114.3mm/4.5" PCD, albeit with 5 studs.
