Who bought the boxes of bits x2 Vixens near Harlepool

The green S2 is very nearly ready for paint. Bonnet and doors and rear screen have all been trial fitted and fettled for fit. In fact I visited them this morning and it looks like it is going to go in the week after next. The chassis is away being blasted and hot zinc sprayed at the moment. The plan is to get the chassis back next week and build it up to rolling while the body is being done and then I will trailer the rolling chassis over to the paint shop to drop the finished body onto it. Then I just need to wire it and plumb it and trim it and it will be ready to go. Its going to be stunning.

Thanks for the reply, it's great to hear of long forgotten cars being brought back to life. More power to your elbow!I'm sure the finished product will be stunning, lets see some pictures

I stripped the paint (one coat!) by hand with a Stanley knife blade and then wet sanded the primer coat back to the fibreglass. All body work after that is being done by specialists. I’ve got a paint code from matching to the original paint.
M3I may be interested in getting a colour match to your car at some point as my green Vixen was painted back in the 80's (original colour being harvest gold). However I may want to respray at some point in the future so having an original TVR green colour match for that period would be nice.
Really looking forward to seeing your car finished later in the year.

Don't see many Harvest Gold cars anymore.. Most have been yellowed or reded now I may be interested in getting a colour match to your car at some point as my green Vixen was painted back in the 80's (original colour being harvest gold).
